can anyone hear me
can anyone see me
does anyone know my fears
for they brim up to my ears
closer as it gets
problems beget
issues i never thought might arise
heart thumping
breath shallowing
my dream was shattered
by one foolish stupid mistake
was i mistaken?
did i dream a dream
that said too much
but hardly more than enough?
one slip of the tongue
one wrong word placed
even the erring error
with one wrong stroke of the pen
could have made my life right
fitting just tight
dreaming now
wishing desperately now
it reaches out to sooth your features
burrow in deep
removing all your pain
puerile thoughts may they be gone
no longer shall i be lone
