the ink in the pen will go on and on, forever and ever.

i watch the sun set
i remembered the days we had
staring out with a smile on my face
i won't ever snap out of my daze
days turned to nights
darkness brightened to light
there's nothing that i will regret
there's nothing i will take back
it wasn't a mistake
when you kissed me by the lake
there's nothing to confess
you knew them even through the mess

the ink in the pen will never die
it will go on and on
forever and ever
till the day that we die
a smile
will last me for a mile
i won't trade this with anything
or even with another ink

you read me like a book
all you had to do is just look
i sing off tune
you don't even cringe
your voice rings
through my empty mind
no i won't it end
no not this way
i won't let you go away

even if it's bitter sweet
even if it's not worth it
the ink won't stop
won't ever stop
what you said
what you did
even if it created a din
it won't make me change my mind

through the rain i saw your smile
it made a warm feeling flood up all inside
i'm turning all gooey
darling, you turn me inside out
there's nothing you could do
to not make me stay that way
because the ink in the pen
will never end
even if it didn't have its way.
